Hi!

My name is Maud and I'm a creative food & experience designer based in London.

Passionate about food & design, I've carved my career across various fields and industries. As a keen adventurer, I'm always curious to learn something new, to discover a culture I don't know much about, and to explore endless possibilities and opportunities this world has to offer.

I’m half French, half British, and I grew up in London whilst attending the French Lycée. This dual nationality has made me particularly open-minded and curious about languages, culture and history.

After completing a Foundation year at Central St Martins and my BA(Hons) in Sustainable Product Design at Falmouth University, food and design became very central in my career. Completing my MA in Food Design and Innovation has taught me about all the different areas within, from product, packaging and graphic design to spatial and service design, as well as communication and marketing, design history, food & wine culture and tourism. I've worked with a few food design studios around the world in South Africa, Italy and Denmark, using food as a tool to communicate stories and culture by creating memories. During those work experiences, I learnt how to respond to client briefs and come up with creative concepts and solutions.

When I worked at Velorution, an urban cycling lifestyle company, I was in charge of a one-month pop-up at lululemon Marylebone, during which I secured sponsorships for a series of events, with brands such as Teapigs, Marylebone Gin, Tesla, Brompton Bicycle and many more. I was also responsible for social media, newsletter and marketing content.

In January 2019, I started my own food design studio, Salty Studio. For the past 4 years, I’ve been hosting various workshops, events and supper clubs, providing unique and creative menus inspired by particular themes, stories or the client’s brand. Sustainability and wellbeing are notable areas of interest and this has been reflected in the work I have achieved over the last years.

Ever since my parents took us travelling to amazing and beautiful countries around the world when we were younger, I've kept this curiosity for exploring our landscapes and cultures. In between my work, I've managed to travel to many destinations such as the Lofoten islands, the Azores, Namibia and Colombia to name a few.

I hope to be able to keep nurturing this excitement for adventure, food and design for as long as I can!
